Cottage front yard

The active gardeners who call this yard home wanted to rip out their lawn and put in a front yard garden to complement their house and existing bluestone walk and entry.

Their new cottage-style garden is a lush green entry to their home. Large naturalistic stones help retain the soil and combine with the plantings to soften the landscape and to marry the formal and informal elements of this home.
